We are a part of the New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences located at the beautiful West campus. We leverage the power of bioinformatics, computational simulation, and the roundworm model Caenorhabditis elegans to study the developmental, reproductive, and neurological effects of environmental chemicals. We work extensively with students in the Pharmacology and Toxicology (B.S.), Biological Data Science (M.S.), and undergraduate research programs at New College and ASU.
Please check out our latest projects on contaminant exposure in cannabis use, computational modeling of male reproductive defects, and molecular evolution of hemp’s resistance to nematodes. You can also read about our teaching philosophy and publications and follow us on Twitter. If you are interested to join us in these exciting projects, please do not hesitate to reach out to Dr. Maxwell C. K. Leung at firstname.lastname@example.org!
